Nelson has become a fan favorite in recent years but his UFC career may be in jeopardy. He is 1-5 over his last six fights, and has lost his last three. His only win came over aged legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, and he has lost to pretty much everyone in the heavyweight top-10.
He received a hefty 190-day medical suspension, so it’s possible he may be out of commission for a good while. Everyone here at FightState is pulling for him to make a speedy recovery.
