Former UFC heavyweight champ Josh Barnett can put a hurtin’ on anybody. The iron-chinned Roy Nelson is no different. While Big Country is known for his ability to shrug off punishment like Homer Simpson in that one episode where he becomes a boxer back in season 8, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get hurt.
At the post-fight press conference, he sported quite the shiner and a generally purple face. While he talked up his performance and expressed his disappointment with the decision, he didn’t seem to be all that worse for wear.
When the x-rays started coming in, though…he wasn’t actually in all that great of condition. Specifically, his right hand was SUPER broken. Check out a pic on the next page.
