In case you didn’t hear, Bellator 149 was kind of a trainwreck. Former light heavyweight champ Emanuel Newton lost an ugly one and may be getting cut. One of the promotion’s first big free agent signings, Melvin Guillard, got brutally knocked out by a no-namer in Derek Campos. Oh and Kimbo Slice vs. Dada 5000? Yeah, that was…something else, entirely.

The main event was a “legends fight” between Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie. They are, indeed, bona fide MMA heroes but at a combined 101 years, it was hard to expect anything good to come out of this fight.
