Bellator 149’s co-main event, Kimbo Slice vs. Dada 5000, wasn’t a good fight. It wasn’t a bad fight, either. Kimbo Slice vs. Dada 5000 was simultaneously the best and worst fight in MMA history. And its ending was absolutely spectacular.
Initially, it seemed like it would be one of those standard fun-yet-terrible heavyweight fights you often see in Bellator. For a round and a half, Slice and Dada traded ugly, sloppy punches and had some of the slowest scrambles you’ll ever see. Then the two minute mark of the second round hit, and everything went to hell.
