WWE Banned the Piledriver. Only Two Wrestlers are Still Allowed to Use the Move.

Wrestling

The Undertaker and his kayfabe brother Kane still retain the Tombstone Piledriver as their primary finishing move. While the rationale behind this is that they are two of the “stronger” guys, in reality their gargantuan height (both are nearly seven feet tall) allow them to perform the move without their foe’s head actually coming close to the ground.

You can only see the move on very rare occasions in the WWE, but it’s not all that uncommon outside the promotion. The Young Bucks, for example, have an absurd, acrobatic, double piledriver  that they occasionally use, while Kevin Owens (back in his days as Kevin Steen) had a particularly gruesome move known as the “Package Piledriver” where he practically rolled people into a ball before dropping them on their heads.

Watch for the Undertaker to possibly put Brock Lesnar away in a couple of weeks at SummerSlam with the Tombstone.
