The feature also touches on other parts of McMahon’s life, and some of the company’s darker moments. McMahon was indicted in 1993 on charges of distributing steroids to his wrestlers, and admitted to taking steroids himself.
McMahon would become one of the show’s primary antagonists in the late 1990s, entering into rivalries with Bret Hart, the Rock and Steve Austin. Today, he makes sporadic appearances with the company, but largely spends his time at the WWE headquarters running the business.
