UFC veteran Diaz was drafted in last minutes to face McGregor on March 5 at welterweight, 25lbs above the weight division that’s McGregor became champion in.
Is this too much of a jump for Conor? Will the weight play a part? Many thought McGregor moving up to lightweight to fight the champion in his first fight in that division was a risk. Time will tell.
Conor said in a tweet just hours ago, “I don’t care about the weight divisions, I’ll run through everyone on the roster.”
