The first half of the fight was relatively standard fare for the regional MMA scene. Big dudes. Heavy hands. Small gas tanks. You know the drill! Eventually, though, Kimbo got a takedown and somehow, that completely sucked the life out of both men.
Both Kimbo and Royce Gracie scored less-than-great wins at Bellator 149.
Slice would basically lie down on top of him and get stood up by the ref and they just started breathing heavily at one another. Slice tried to throw punches, but they had no force behind them. Dada tried to grapple, but couldn’t get anything going.
Both men were so tired that they were literally falling over one another. Dada got hold of Slice and he escaped by just going down on all fours. He then literally crawled at Dada and got a takedown of his own. I’m not kidding, either! Here’s the video:
