Lightweight champ, Eddie Alvarez has wanted to face McGregor for a while.
Dana has said he isn’t interested in a third fight with Nate Diaz, calling the fight, ‘pointless.’ Dana will stick to his words and force Conor to make a decision weather to make a defence of his Featherweight title, should he not defend it in his next fight he could in one way or another… Lose it: “He’s not going to get stripped. He’s going to make a decision,” White told NBC Sports Radio. “He knows the Nate Diaz fight isn’t the fight to make right now.

“He has to either defend his title or give it up and decide what he wants to do next. We’ll get that figured out with him.”
One fight that Conor wants is a fight at lightweight, a fight that he was preparing for back at UFC 196 when he wanted to fight the then lightweight champ, Rafael dos Anjos. But as Anjos pulled out, he was left the go down the welterweight route that left the Notorious one with his first loss in a long time.
In for the change? Conor is rumoured to move to lightweight.
The new current lightweight division champion is Eddie Alvarez, a guy who has made it clear time and time again that he is interested in a fight with Conor McGregor. A fight that will be Alvarez’s biggest payday.
Today, on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Rogan added to the Alvarez rumours by saying he has some inside information on McGregor’s next fight..
