It’s been talked about for a while now that UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor will fight on the UFC 205 card in New York. The event will be held at the world famous Madison Square Garden.

Until now, his opponent hasn’t been mentioned. Today we bring you a strong candidate for McGregor’s next fight.

UFC 205 will take place in November, almost one year after Conor McGregor beat Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight crown. Since that fight, Conor hasn’t visited the Featherweight division, fighting twice at welterweight against Nate Diaz. Conor was meant to fight at lightweight for the title against Rafael dos Anjos, but Anjos had to pull out with a foot injury. This is what lead to Conor McGregor being away from the featherweight division for so long.

There were more delays for McGregor, delays that were ‘self inflicted,’ Conor was meant to fight Nate Diaz at UFC 200, but he was dropped for not keeping up with the UFC’s mandatory scheduled press conferences.

Dana White has said again and again, if Conor McGregor doesn’t defend his Featherweight title, he will pretty much be vacating the title. A title that will most likely end up back in the hands of Jose Aldo.. ..Oh the drama!

So, who does Joe say Conor’s going to be fighting, based on his insider info? He might get cut off after this one…
