According to Ross, his Twitter account was hacked, and this was indeed a big prank. Once he found out about the false death claims, he attempted to reset his password and retake his account, but the email account attached to it has also been changed. which has locked him out. According to Ross, the techs over at Twitter are helping him take back his account.
As for Ross himself? He told Pro Wrestling Sheet that he is “healthy, but not happy” due to the trouble on Twitter.
Regardless, 2015 has already been a very tough year for wrestling fans with the deaths of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes both dying, as well as the Hulk Hogan racism scandal and Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka getting arrested on murder charges. The last thing fans need is a personality as universally liked as Ross to die.
