According to Ross, his Twitter account was hacked, and this was indeed a big prank. According to Ross, the techs over at Twitter are helping him take back his account.

Ol' JR will hopefully be back on Twitter, telling fans to be nicer to Vince McMahon in the coming hours.

As for Ross himself? He told Pro Wrestling Sheet that he is “healthy, but not happy” due to the trouble on Twitter.

Unfortunately, while he might be back on Twitter, he probably won't be back in the WWE ever again.

Regardless, 2015 has already been a very tough year for wrestling fans with the deaths of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes both dying, as well as the Hulk Hogan racism scandal and Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka getting arrested on murder charges. The last thing fans need is a personality as universally liked as Ross to die.
