Emelianenko started his MMA career on May 21, 2000, with four straight victories. One of his earliest most famous victory’s was over ADCC champion Ricardo Arona, which is considered one of his toughest fights in his career. He then had some controversy when he lost to Tsuyoshi Kohsaka on December 22, 2000.
Fedor then went unbeaten for his next 28 fights up until June 26, 2010.
