Conor McGregor Is Using His Newborn Baby To Help Trashtalk Floyd Mayweather

Articles

Conor gets really creative with the trash talk, for instance – he released his own Emoji app filled with emojis of him knocking out Floyd Mayweather. Say what you want about the guy, but that’s next level.

Conor’s longtime girlfriend, Dee Devlin, recently gave birth to the couple’s first child, a healthy baby boy that Conor dubbed “The Undisputed 9 Pound World Champion”.

In a recent tweet, Conor showed his adorable baby chillin’ on a pile of MMA belts.

The Conor vs Mayweather fight still isn’t on, but it has recently been revealed that Dana has reached a deal on Conor’s side of things, so now it’s time to work with Floyd’s people to finalize things. Here’s Conor’s statement:

“It is an honor to sign this record breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Paradigm Sports Management,” McGregor said. “The first, and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.”

Dana White has been putting together big fights for his entire career, but this one is absolutly next level, and probabally has at least a little bit to do with the fact that the new owners are keeping him on board despite the fact that they’re trying to reduce costs, and Dana certainly has a massive contract. If he can get this fight done, it will be a feather in his hat as a promoter, the biggest accomplishment of his career.

Now, negotiating with Floyd and his team is no easy task. Usually, it’s Floyd’s way or the highway… and that’s also how things work for Conor, and for the UFC, so we’ve got 3 immovable objects here trying to come to terms, but at the end of the day it should be an easy boxing match for Floyd, however he’s still putting his legacy on the line and risking a loss before hitting that 50-0. None the less, Conor is an MMA fighter… if this was an MMA fight, Conor would destroy Floyd, but it’s a boxing match, so Floyd has a HUGE advantage. Still, Conor continues to surprise us at every turn, so let’s not write him off yet, especially not before the fight is even booked.
