UFC on Fox 19 has been hit with yet another drug test violation. We reported how UFC on Fox 19 card already lost its its main fight, with Lyoto Machida admitting he used a band substance. Which lead to his fight with Dan Henderson being cancelled.
Lyoto Machida mentioned in his statement that he was using a supplement called 7-Keto, which contains DHEA, an illegal substance which he wasn’t aware of.
Now, Islam Makhachev has been pulled from the car by the Florida AC for a drug test violation involving meldonium. meldonium is a medication that increases blood flow in patients with ischemia and angina. This drug isn’t available nor is it scheduled for availability with in America.
As a result, Makhachev fight with Drew Dober has been cancelled with just 24 hours until fight night.
