Ric Flair is one of the most influential wrestlers of all time. While the WWE and other American pro wrestling promotions still struggle with the idea that a character can lie somewhere between Adolf Hitler and Mother Theresa on the Bad-Good spectrum, Flair had NWA fans down south rooting for him hard, even as he and the Four Horsemen put the hurt on Dusty Rhodes with a baseball bat.
He styled. He profiled. He made us all self-conscious about our own physical appearances.
Now? Not so much.
