Holly Holm

When Holly Holm lost the UFC title to Miesha Tate, she literally fought to her last breath. With Tate tightening up a rear-naked choke, she kicked, punched, flailed and fought until she just couldn’t anymore and passed out. And you know what? SHE POSTED PHOTOS OF THE FIGHT ONLINE WHEN CALLING FOR A REMATCH! When you compare how she has handled her loss with how Ronda Rousey has handled hers…it’s such a night-and-day comparison.

Leonard Garcia

The first man to fight at 145 pounds in the UFC was Leonard Garcia, a WEC call-up made popular through his epic fight with Chan-Sung Jung. While the Greg Jackson product was never an especially great fighter, he was long admired for his toughness. No matter how much damage he took, no matter how swollen his face was, he moved forward and kept swinging for the fences. He left the UFC with an ugly 1-5 record, but remains one of the toughest fighters in its history.
