The video is short, but you can find out a lot therein. Rousey and Barnett compare and contrast the Pokemon Trading Card Game with Magic: The Gathering. Rousey is, famously, a bigtime Pokemon fan, having discussed how she used to moderate a Pokemon Stadium forum in her youth and remains a fan today, often referencing the series in interviews and at media events.
As a Pokemon fan, I still find that pretty darn cool.
Barnett, though, isn’t into Pokemon. Barnett prefers the deeper, more interesting Magic: The Gathering which he explains offers both more intense action and greater strategic diversity.
Make no mistake, Barnett is a really, really big fan of MTG.
