Jones is quick to call the police officer a liar and eventually calls the officer a pig. The former champ is adamant that he was not drag racing, or even speeding and the cop admits as much. Unfortunately for Jones, revving the engine at a traffic stop is enough to draw a drag racing ticket at a stop light in New Mexico (and other states), so the ticket will likely hold up.
In fairness to Jones, he really doesn’t “cross the line” in any way. He doesn’t threaten the cop or go completely crazy, he’s just mad over what he sees as an unfair ticketing and makes it clear he doesn’t like it.
Still, this may put his UFC 197 fight at risk. We’ll see how that goes.
