According to Rogan, Jones was in Montreal, visiting Rogan in his hotel room and maybe smoking weed (which means they were totally smoking weed. This most likely took place around the time of the infamous UFC 97 event, which saw Anderson Silva post one of his lamest wins ever over an outgunned Thales Leites. Rogan, obviously, was there to commentate while Jones, at the time, was training part-time at Montreal’s TriStar Gym alongside Georges St-Pierre and Kenny Florian.
That would have been just two fights deep into Jones’ UFC career (following his win over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 94).
“Yeah, I have no idea what he’s talking about.”–Jon Jones, probably.
It’s worth noting that Jones said that he was addicted to marijuana in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, and that he was quite the party guy before his hit-and-run in April. He’s totally clean now, and SUPER BUFF NOW.
