Because of the incident, Pena is set to appear before a judge on December 30. She faces up to a year in prison, but it feels more like she’s going to wind up getting the whole “fine and probation” slap on the wrist.

Ghostbusters 2 was a really good movie, I don't care what anyone says.

Unless she gets this guy. Shut up, Ghostbusters 2 was a really good movie, I don’t care what anyone says!

What’s more interesting will be her UFC punishment. According to the reports, this was an incident entirely provoked and perpetrated by Pena. There doesn’t seem to be any excuse or defense for her actions, which means she obviously SHOULD be facing some sort of fine or suspension from the UFC.

"Oh, you're in trouble with your latest babymama? No biggy, we'll just push back your main event fight three weeks, no biggy."--UFC on Anthony Johnson

Will she, though? The UFC is nothing of not a fan of double standards. While they’re quick to fine Matt Mitrione and Nate Diaz for politically incorrect language, they’re also more than willing to look the other way when people they like do something that’s actually bad (looking at you Anthony Johnson and Travis Browne).

It will be fun to see if the UFC gives Pena a pass on this or if they actually rake her over the coals.
