Going forward, there is a strong likelihood that familiar faces get bumped. Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg, for example, have stuck around for over a decade at least in part due to their friendships with White and the Fertittas, With those safety nets gone, we could see things get shaken up at the commentary desk, and in other ways.
In the long term, we may see the conventions of the UFC challenged. Could White be completely phased off the television? Could we see the UFC on multiple networks again? Could the UFC let go of the reins on production?
We don’t know, and unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see.
