Palhares is headed to Italy’s Venator FC. The promotion has been in the news lately for their recent signing of Jason “Mayhem” Miller (who has legitimately gone off the deep end over the last year) and their boss who makes Dana White seem like a rational, intelligent, tactful man. Anyway, Palhares will face Emil Meek, a Norwegian striker with a 7-2 record. This is interesting news, though, and it’s the first time a prominent fighter has openly told an athletic commission where they can stick their suspension. It will be interesting to see what happens when he tries to get relicensed stateside…in a year or two.
