Rousimar Palhares is still in trouble. The former WSOF champion that got indefinitely suspended by the promotion for gouging Jake Shields’ eyes and giving his arm his now-signature twist after the fight actually ended got suspended by a real MMA authority, the NSAC, not long after.

Officially, Palhares isn’t supposed to fight until 2017 due to his unsportsmanlike conduct suspension. The thing is, the NSAC only has authority in Nevada, and only has authority-by-association in North America and that makes it fair game for him to fight elsewhere in the world.
