Martial artist Iko Uwais is also on board for Mile 22. He’s best known for The Raid: Redemption and The Raid 2, and will be appearing in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Mile 22 is about a CIA agent in Indonesia who has to transport an informant from deep within the city towards the outskirts to make an escape, some 22 Miles away. Get it? That’s why it’s called 22 Miles.
