Reebok Screws Up Again By Forcing Polish Fights To Wear The Symbol Of Their Enemies On Their Jersey

MMA

Reebok enraged Irish fans a few weeks ago by completely ignoring an entire part of the island. Conor’s coach threatened to drop their sponsorship if Reebok didn’t get it fixed, and Reebok quickly fixed the problem and apologized. Now, they’re at it again…

Polish fans don’t know whether to laugh or be furious. Fighters are forced to wear whatever jersey Reebok gives them, they have no choice. At least with the Irish t-shirts, it was a shirt for sale on their site, not the actual uniform that fighters and coaches are required to wear.

Granted, it’s probably not intentional, coming from the company that made “Giblert Melendez” shirts, but you’d think after so many mistakes they would start double-checking things like this.

In this day and age, it’s impossible to appease all of the PC Police who make it a full time job to find things to be offended about, but maybe not making fighters wear symbols used by Russians to mock Polish people after invading them would be a good start. Granted, knowing that you shouldn’t change the color of the Poland’s White Eagle is a little more obscure than completely cutting off Northern Ireland, but you would hope that by now they would be triple-checking all designs before releasing them.
