According to another martial arts teacher in the area (That has been teaching since the ’70s), the video that was released is a highly edited version of what happened, and there was a longer and much more disturbing version going around locally right after this horrific event took place.
Despite being covered in local news, there have been very few leads. We’ve got the news report of this vicious attack:
Here’s a quote from the other local martial arts teacher that we mentioned on the previous page, who made the following comment anonymously: “Bobby’s senior student beat the guy senseless. When the guys head was causing a pool of blood from his head being stomped against the concrete floor, Bobby stopped everything and had them drag the guy out the back door. There were rumors that they threw him in a dumpster.”
It’s not uncommon for guys to show up at gyms and challenge the top students, sometimes they’ll get submitted or KO’d, but this guy was just looking to compare techniques and to learn (As Blythe sarcastically confirms in the video on the previous page.) It’s one thing to silence somebody who comes into your gym and talks a big game, but what happened here is so far across the line of what’s acceptable, even in the most archaic of old-school gyms.
