Latifi was going to try to reverse his loss with Corey Anderson in UFC 232. This is the third fight due to injury that is canceled this 2019. The first was with Ovince St Preux, then with Glover Teixeira and the one this afternoon.

Oezdemir also sought to end his three-game losing streak, in the last fight he lost in a controversial way with Dominick Reyes. Before that streak, he won his first three fights in the organization.

After the loss, the event will proceed with 12 fights and the new co-star would have to be announced in the next few hours.

UFC Stockholm takes place this Saturday at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.
