According to multiple sources (most notably MMAFighting.com), Slice and Shamrock both failed pre-fight drug tests due to a banned substance. Which banned substance? We don’t actually know yet.
Both men are facing disciplinary hearings in the future and, if they failed drug tests for PEDs, likely face bans from anywhere from one to four years. Shamrock will likely get a harder slap, due to the fact that this is his second failed drug test.
We’ll see how it goes.
