Bellator 149 was fun for a little while. Kimbo Slice vs. Dada 5000 was the most amazing trainwreck I’ve ever seen in my many, many years of watching MMA and Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie, despite their age, are still living legends in the sport.
Unfortunately, as time goes on, the card seems to get worse and worse. It came out not long after Bellator 149 ended that Dada 5000 was hospitalized due to a serious health scare and that sucked a lot of the fun out of the event.
1995 was a simpler time…a better time…
