Here’s What Happens When Frank Mir Compares Conor McGregor to Brock Lesnar

Frank Mir recently knocked out Todd Duffee after a sloppy slugfest, which puts him on a 2 fight win streak with both coming at the very start of the first round. That’s a lot better than the 4-fight losing streak he was on that got him downgraded from PPV cards to appearing on Fox cards instead.

Frank Mir compares Conor’s massive fame to that of Brock Lesnar a few years ago, and is quick to point out how everybody is comparing UFC 189 to UFC 100 because of how great 100 was. What a coincidence, Mir headlined that card opposite Lesnar.

UFC 100 sold 1.6 million Pay Per Views, but the numbers for 189 haven’t been released yet. Either way, a little frenchman named GSP definitely had a hand in moving the dial.
