Conor McGregor does a lot of talking, so it wasn’t hard to put together this montage of all the times Conor has talked trash about Jose Aldo.
If McGregor pulls the upset next month at UFC 194, Jose Aldo will pretty much have to pack up his bags and retire, because it will be hard to come back from such a demoralizing defeat. Jose knows a thing or two about that, because he recently advised Ronda Rousey to stick to acting and never fight again.
Unlike other notorious trash talkers like Ronda Rousey or Chael Sonnon, McGregor has (so far) been able to back it all up in the big fights.
Time will tell whether Conor ends up eating his words (Like he ate a photo of Jose at the start of this montage), or if he backs it all up and earns eternal bragging rights as one of the top pound for pound fighters.
Fans and experts are mixed in their predictions for this fight. Jose Aldo has shown to get an early lead, and take off the occasionally round because he doesn’t always have the stamina to go hard for four rounds.
We’ve yet to see how McGregor fares in the championship rounds because he’s only made it past the 2nd round once in his career, but he tends to keep the pressure on which could be the deciding factor against Aldo. How will Aldo do against somebody who’s going to keep the pressure on him the whole fight?
