Vadim Nemkov vs. Karl Albrektsson was your standard mid-level MMA fight before Nemkov tried to go for an outside trip. He ended up dragging Albrektsson butt-first between the second and third ropes which allowed them both to smoothly slip to the outside, bounce off the platform and hit the floor below. Thankfully both men were fine and continued the fight shortly thereafter with Albrektsson winning by split decision.
While I’m a big fan of Japanese MMA…I’m certainly a fan of the cage more than the ring for this exact reason.
