In addition to Cerrone, UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and fan favorite Nate Diaz also got fined by Reebok. What did they do?
Well, dos Anjos wore a shirt repping one of his gyms, Evolve MMA, at the weigh-ins and got absolutely hammered. Nate Diaz, on the other hand, was fined for wearing jeans at at the weigh-ins. Neither man disclosed how much they had to pay, but both men, understandably, are displeased.
Wearing one of these shirts is what got Rafael dos Anjos fined.
We’ll see if these fighters learn their lessons, or if we’re in for a lot more ugliness between UFC fighters and Reebok.
