BAMMA is widely considered as one of the premiere martial arts promotions in the UK, but their BAMMA 22 event in Dublin was a black eye for the sport.
It only takes a few bad apples to ruin the bunch, but that’s not apple juice in those cups.
English fans were furious that Loughnane lost the close decision.
After the main event, which ended in a controversial decision against an English fighter, some unruly goofs started tossing cups filled with urine into the cage.
You’re probably thinking, “Weren’t those just beers?”
You’d think so, right? But eye-witnesses who attended the event point out that after hours and hours of fights and last call, you’d be hard-pressed to find a full beer in the building, not to mention that people literally saw a guy pissing into cups with his pants down, as police arrived. The guy who shot the video you’re about to see on the next page assures us that the guys in the cage are 100% taking golden showers.
That’s no way to treat a champion, even if he’s not your countryman.
