Stitch started working for the UFC around the time that Zuffa took over, so he had been there for a very long time, working alongside the rest of the people who made each show possible. However, after over a decade together, Stitch obviously thought the relationship was more than just that of work associates. Basically Dana throwing some salt in the wounds, but it’s his M.O. to always double down on stuff like this so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
