Look, readers. I’m a bigtime fan of the Diaz brothers. I love them. But this is a very, very tough fight for Nate here.

Nate is really good, and looked phenomenal against Michael Johnson in his last fight, but the problem with Nate has always been his relative slowness. Nate (and Nick, too), likes to walk down opponents and while that will work against the majority of opponents, Conor is so sneaky with his punches that he can just hit him and get out before Diaz even knows what happened.

McGregor fans should be feeling pretty good here. While Diaz is a better finisher on the ground than dos Anjos and is way longer than the champ, he doesn’t have the wrestling skills that could have troubled Conor.

If you’re a betting man…bet on Conor here, either by decision or knockout.
