McGregor will, in fact, face Nate Diaz. That’s right, the brother of the weed-loving Nick Diaz and the man who has perfected the deadly Stockton Slap technique.
His fight with Conor McGregor wil indeed be the main event of UFC 196, and will be a five-round affair. Holly Holm vs. Miesha Tate will remain the co-main event. It’s the first time a non-title fight has headlined over a title fight since the early days of Matt Hughes’ reign as UFC welterweight champion.
