TJ Dillashaw made the expected decision and relinquished his belt and vacate the bantamweight belt after learning of a possible test positive before UFC Brooklyn. As why he did this is it rumor it would have happened anyway and he should be given no credit for doing the inevitable.

McGregor is referred to in that tweet at the time he was a trainer in The Ultimate Fighter in front of Urijah Faber’s team, McGregor’s comment speaks of Dillashaw as “Snake in the grass “. That term became popular sometime later when Dillashaw broke ties with Faber and decided to leave Team Alpha Male.

The New York Athletic Commission suspended Dillashaw for one year and fined him $ 10,000. Dillashaw expects to receive his fine from USADA, but the anti-doping agency said it is still investigating the case.
