It’s a complete mystery as to what’s going on with Conor McGregor. Some are speculating that it’s an issue of money, with Conor demanding more money for his UFC 200 fight just a few days before tickets go on sale. Others are wondering if McGregor might be shaken a bit by Joao Carvalho’s death from MMA-related injuries (a fight which Conor was in attendance for). It’s impossible to guess at this point.
McGregor was in attendance when Joao Carvalho sustained injuries that led to his death.
Diaz, however, will remain on the UFC 200 card. The UFC is currently trying to find an opponent for him with obvious options being welterweight champ Robbie Lawler, lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos and, if he returns, Georges St-Pierre.
Nate Diaz vs. GSP? Would watch.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
