Anderson Silva is Here To Stay and Will Continue Fighting

It has been almost a year since the last fight of “The Spider” and two months of silence since announcing his second possible doping case , but the legend of the average weight expects to return to the octagon. In a message on his Instagram account , Anderson Silva thanked his fans for their support and wrote that “you can be sure that this does not end. My love and my passion for fighting are here, firm and strong .” Silva did not mention the process with USADA, where he could receive an extended suspension given his doping in 2015 . The full statement was as follows:

Quando olho esta foto, percebo o quanto Deus me fortalece sempre me dando luz na minha caminhada. Em uma longa viagem, lembranças fantásticas do tempo em que brincava nas ruas do bairro onde cresci em Curitiba. Tudo que passei, tudo que consegui construir com força de vontade, com determinação e muita honra. Tive o previlégio de colocar o brasão do meu time do coração, de uma certa forma, dar um título mundial pra ele e principalmente, pro meu povo.
