What happens when A person is Knocked out.

Unlike blunt force trauma, the sleeperhold, when you wake up from it, feels like you just woke up from a deep sleep. But you are a bit disoriented, and it may take a minute for your limbs to get moving again (your whole body goes lax).
That said, there is a balance to the sleeperhold. You need to always have someone watching the whole thing. Because if held for too long, you could cause damage to the brain, or worse.
But when unconscious, think a dreamless sleep. Though, you could wake up with a very painful head, or an overly lax body.
