While details are still breaking at this time, numerous reports confirm that Jimmo died due to a hit-and-run car accident in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. While the details of this incident have not yet been confirmed a poster on Reddit stated the following:

“He was being tailgate and was brake checking to get the guy to stop. Eventually pulled over..they both got out and had words. Ryan was the bigger man and was headed back to get in his car when this fucking ass hole ran him over. There’s reported to be a licence plate and video. His murderer is still not found.”

While that has not been relayed through any major news outlets, MMA or otherwise, CBC states that the case is being investigated as a homicide, which lends some credibility to this account.

He still shares the record to this day with “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung and Todd Duffee.
