MMA star Urijah Faber has had his UFC Championship belt stolen from Marinoble’s Martial Arts Studio in Roseville, California.
It’s reported that one man smashed the front window of the studio and broke in, snatching the title belt and making his getaway on Thursday morning. CCTV shows someone fitting the description walking past the studio just 24 before the robbery on Wednesday.
Faber not happy
This is yet another MMA memorabilia theft, just two weeks ago, coach Mike Winkeljohn had a Muay Thai title belt taken from his property in Albuquerque, New Mexico. No one is sure if these crimes are connected.
That’s not all the thief took. He also got hold of some cash, training equipment and other MMA memorabilia. It’s said that the belt isn’t worth too much money but obviously carries a lot of sentimental value.
