Obviously, that was as disappointing as it could have been. The White House basically said “hey, we agree with you, but those crazy kooks down in Nevada, huh? Maybe you should just talk with them about it…”

Ha! Who even is Nick Diaz?

How Obama would look after spending an afternoon with Nick Diaz.

While the White House proved to be of absolutely no help (total shock, right?), things are still looking up for Diaz the Elder. Diaz has been fighting with the NSAC in court, and by all accounts, he is in good position to get his five-year suspension reduced by as much as three and a half years. That would mean that Diaz could be able to come back as soon as Fall 2016.

Diaz vs. Lawler back at UFC 47! Diaz won, by the way.

Here’s hoping that he can get back into the cage soon and, heck, here’s hoping he can get a rematch with Lawler for the title. Don’t forget who won back at UFC 47, homie!
