Palhares may be in big trouble for this latest incident, though. WSOF matchmaker Ali Abdelaziz said that the NSAC was withholding Palhares’ win bonus, which likely means that Palhares is about to get slapped with some form of disciplinary action.
If the NSAC takes action, one has to imagine a serious suspension may be in order. Abdelaziz openly discussed stripping Palhares of the welterweight title.
Palhares has avoided serious punishment in spite of his long history of dirty fighting. One has to hope that he finally gets his comeuppance before he legitimately ends someone’s career.
