So why is Rousey going to appear on SNL? Well, that’s an easy, twofold answer.

The first reason? To start rebuilding her brand. Keep in mind that Rousey isn’t just a fighter anymore. Rousey is an actress, too, who has suffered a devastating blow to her reputation and brand (even if both of those are still tied to her status as a fighter). Appearing on SNL, showing that she’s not dead and showing she’s still strong is a good way to start rebuilding that brand.

Rousey needs to rebuild her rep after...this.

The other reason? She’s still got movies to plug! Don’t forget, Rousey has most likely been busy doing something for her upcoming movies like the remake of Roadhouse and she will also be appearing in a documentary entitled “Through My Father’s Eyes”, set to drop in the summer. In all likelihood, she is going to give shout-outs to one or both of those during her appearance.

Rousey still has movies to make, then push.

As for other guests, SNL will be bringing in Selena Gomez as the musical guest for that episode.

So where has Rousey been all this time? What has she been doing since her loss to Holly Holm? And what does she even look like after that beating? Find out on the next page.
