Politics have suddenly become a big thing in MMA. Saturday’s Fight Night 77 event was seriously derailed by the Brazilian fans who repeatedly started long, elaborate chants about how they hate their President. Back stateside, Vitor Belfort surprised absolutely nobody by voicing his support of Ben Carson.
Don’t expect Rousey to get too much more involved in politics, though. She is currently preparing for UFC 193, where she will face Holly Holm.
We’ll see how the political world handles Rousey’s endorsement, and we’ll see if she starts appearing alongside candidates in the future.
