Ronda Rousey Looking For a Way To Get Back Into The WWE

The UFC contract explicitly forbids UFC fighters from taking on activities that are potentially physically harmful. While the UFC is silly enough to actively encourage fighters to ride motorcycles, they have blocked fighters from doing things like pro wrestling.

While several UFC fighters over the last year have found a way to get into the ring either with the UFC’s blessing or without their knowledge, most notably Josh Barnett wrestling in a tag team match at the Inoki Genome Federation’s year-end show, other fighters were not so lucky. Tom Lawlor, for example, was rumored to have been close to reaching a deal with Ring of Honor, one of the larger pro wrestling promotions, only to have it blocked by the UFC.

Granted, Ronda Rousey is big enough at this point that she could wrestle and just tell the UFC to suck it.

cm punk suck it

If she felt like it, she could just go into the ring and the UFC wouldn’t be able to make a power play and threaten to sue her as the could with the majority of the roster. That said, don’t hold your breath on this happening at any point soon.

Rousey is rumored to be poised to take part in a piece of WWE programming; an appearance on the Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast on the WWE Network. That will have have to hold fans over for now.
