Pineau, obviously, would immediately tap out but the damage was done. Oddly, the official decision goes down as a TKO via punches at 0:58 of Round 1 (rather than via injury or even via slam). Pineau now has to get on the long road to recovery and, hopefully, he has better insurance than whatever it is regional-level, casino-based MMA offers (which, let’s be honest, is probably nothing).
