The trailer doesn’t show off the computer-generated Bruce Lee character, but shows Tyson staring down the series’ star, Donnie Yen.
Ip Man 3 has seen a fair bit of trouble over recent months, with shooting being hampered by Yen unintentionally breaking Tyson’s left index finger during shooting. Off the set, the movie studio dealing with a lawsuit over using the image of Bruce Lee, with Bruce Lee Enterprises (the company that manages Lee’s likeness) taking issue with what they allege to be an unauthorized use of his likeness. The studio claims that Bruce’s brother, Robert Lee, gave them authorization.
